Representatives of the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation met with residents of Fuzuli on the eve of the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta in rowing, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which will be held on April 28-May 2. Sport24.az reports that during the meeting with residents who moved to the newly built town in Fuzuli, information was provided about the event to be held on April 28 in Kondalanchay.
The event includes the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta. Interesting water shows and exemplary performances by rowers will take place in Kondalanchay from 11:00. At the same time, interesting quizzes and intellectual competitions will be held for children and teenagers, and commemorative gifts will be presented by the federation. For the first time in Karabakh, residents will have the opportunity to try themselves in amateur rowing boats.
It should be noted that more than 200 athletes from more than 20 countries from Europe, Asia and Africa will compete in the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta. On April 29, at 14:00, the official parade of the competitions will take place in Mingachevir, on Heydar Aliyev Avenue. On April 29, from 11:00, the opening ceremony of the Regatta and the first competitions will be held in the Sugovushan reservoir. The regatta will continue on May 1-2 at the Mingachevir "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center.
