The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation organized the Federation Cup on a concept trainer.
İdman.Biz reports that more than 30 athletes from Baku and Mingachevir competed in the competition held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center.
Ziya Mammadzadeh took first place in the 2000-meter race for young people under 23 (U23). Nurlan Pashayev was second, and Elnur Aliyev was third.
Among athletes born in 2008-2009, Azer Ilyasov experienced the joy of winning the championship. Tunar Mammadzadeh was second, and Isabala Dadashzadeh was third.
In the competition of athletes born in 2010-2013, Muhammad Hasanov finished the distance first. Ruslan Farajov won the silver medal. Javid Habibbli completed the top three.
The order in the girls' competition was as follows. Fatima Maharramli was awarded gold, Anna Korobkova silver, and Fatima Alasgarli bronze medals.
It should be noted that concept trainer competitions are held on a special sports facility designed for indoor rowing. This type of competition is widespread in the world. Last year, Azerbaijan hosted the first concept rowing competition for the first time.
