Azerbaijani representatives will try to win new medals in the next competitions.
The Western Bureau of "Report" reports that Suleyman Ismayilzade, an Azerbaijani swimmer who won a silver medal at the III CIS Games, said this in a statement to journalists.
He said he was happy with the successful result:
"We had never won a medal in swimming competitions of the CIS Games until today. This was one of the first medals we won. I am proud that I have signed one of the successful results. This is not the end yet. We will try to get new medals. We thank our coach for the successful results."
It should be noted that Suleyman Ismayilzade won a silver medal in the 1500 meters freestyle swimming competition.
