Azerbaijan's three-time Paralympic champion Raman Salei (S12 category) has won the Para Swimming World Championships held in Singapore's capital of the same name. This was reported by the press service of the National Paralympic Committee.
On the first day of the competition, the athlete won a gold medal with a result of 1:01.58 in the 100-meter backstroke.
It should be noted that R.Salei, who became a world champion for the fourth time, will also compete in the 100-meter freestyle, butterfly, and 50-meter freestyle at the competition, which will last until September 27.
