Three-time Paralympic champion para-swimmer Raman Salei (S12 category) has won first place at the World Para Swimming Championships held in Singapore, the capital city of the same name. Sport24.az reports that our para-swimmer won a gold medal on the first day of the competition in the 100-meter backstroke with a result of 1:01.58.
Our athlete, who became a world champion for the fourth time, will also compete in the 100-meter freestyle, "butterfly," and 50-meter freestyle at the competition, which will last until September 27.
