The opponents of the Azerbaijani women's handball team, which will participate in the VI Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have been determined.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation told "Report" about this.
The Azerbaijani national team will compete in Group B together with the national teams of Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Qatar. In Group A, there are the national teams of Turkey, Iran, Guinea and the Maldives.
The handball competitions at the Islamic Solidarity Games will be held from November 13 to 21.
It should be noted that the women's handball team won a gold medal in the analogous competition held in Baku in 2017, and a silver medal in the games held in Konya, Turkey in 2022.
