Bobsleigh Olympic champion Lisa Buckwitz has announced that she is managing an account on the OnlyFans platform to finance her preparation process for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Idman.Biz reports that the athlete openly justified her decision, stating that she did not see it as unusual and that it is difficult to ensure a high-level preparation process without additional financial support.
"This is sponsorship support for me. It allows me to continue my service in the armed forces and engage in my sport in parallel. There is nothing abnormal here," said Buckwitz.
It should be noted that OnlyFans is a paid content platform operating on the Internet, where users access the material shared by creators on a monthly subscription basis. Although the platform has content on various topics, it is mostly known for 18+ content, and some athletes use it as a financial support and sponsorship alternative.
