Olympic bobsleigh champion Lisa Buckwitz has announced that she is running an account on the OnlyFans platform to finance her preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
İdman.Biz reports that the athlete openly justified this decision and said that she did not see it as unusual, adding that it is difficult to ensure a high level of preparation without additional financial support.
"This is sponsorship support for me. It allows me to continue my service in the armed forces and practice my sport in parallel. There is nothing abnormal here," said Buckwitz.
It should be noted that OnlyFans is a paid content platform operating over the Internet, and users get access to the materials shared by creators on a monthly subscription basis. Although the platform has content on various topics, it is more known for 18+ content and some athletes use it as an alternative to financial support and sponsorship.
