A memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) and the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF).
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the press service of the NPC that a broad meeting was held between officials of both organizations.
The parties discussed future cooperation opportunities in the development of para-swimming, conditions created for athletes, preparation for international competitions, and promotion of inclusive sports. According to the memorandum, both organizations will cooperate in the development of para-swimming in the country, involvement of people with physical disabilities in swimming, and implementation of joint projects, including awareness-raising initiatives.
It should be noted that the memorandum was signed by the Secretary General of the NPC Togrul Rahimov and the Secretary General of the ASF Oktay Atayev.
