Australian swimmer Lani Pallister set a record at the World Cup held in Toronto, Canada.
"Report" reports with reference to foreign media that the 23-year-old athlete achieved this in the 800-meter freestyle swimming.
Pallister, who covered the distance in 7 minutes and 54 seconds, broke the record (7 minutes 57.42 seconds) held by American Katie Ledecky in 2022.
It should be noted that L. Pallister is a two-time world champion, as well as a five-time winner of the world short course championships.
