Khazar Isayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Fair Play Commission (AzFPC) and member of the Executive Committee of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM), was awarded a diploma in the "Fair Play Career" nomination at the next meeting of the EFPM Executive Committee held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
Idman.biz reports that the award was given to Isayev by Professor Jeno Kamuti, Honorary President of the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP), for his long-term activities in promoting the principles of fair play in sports, his contributions to the education of the younger generation in the spirit of these values, as well as his active participation and initiative in the international "fair play" movement.
Aysel Sultanova, Executive Secretary of AzFPC, also took part in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed the EFPM's future development strategy, key areas in management, finance, international relations and communications, and adopted an action plan covering 2025–2026.
At the official ceremony held on September 16 in the Gothic Hall of the Brussels Municipality, the 3rd "Fair Play for Peace" award was presented to the International Special Olympics organization by the European Fair Play Movement for its contribution to the promotion of values such as peace, solidarity, respect and tolerance in sports.
