The VI Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have concluded.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijani team finished the Islamic Games with a total of 59 medals.
Of these, 9 are gold, 19 are silver, and 31 are bronze.
With this indicator, our country took 10th place in the overall medal standings. Turkey is in first place with 155 medals. Uzbekistan (96) is second and Iran (81) is third.
Athletes from a total of 57 countries competed in the Games. Representatives from 43 countries were able to win medals.
