Rufat Efendiyev, Deputy Executive Director of AMADA, attended the meeting of the Science Advisory Group (T-DO SCI) of the Council of Europe's Anti-Doping Convention in Paris, the capital of France.

Representatives of national anti-doping organizations from more than 10 countries and representatives of laboratories accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) gathered at the event organized at the Council of Europe office to determine scientific priorities for 2025–2027.
The agenda included a review of the Group's priority areas, the results of a recent survey, and discussions on the action plan.
Within the framework of the meeting, the issue of scientific contributions to the new World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards, which will enter into force in 2027, innovations related to laboratories, technical documents and key changes planned during the next Code reform period were also discussed. Preparation for the "International Conference on Prohibited Substances", which will be held in 2026 in cooperation with the MEDICRIME Convention, was also in the spotlight.
The event concluded with a session on the coordination of investigations with the presentation of new tools, including the "Dynamic Panel on Anti-Doping Investigation" and other tools.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of science-based policies for the protection of clean sports in Europe and the assurance of public health.
