UFC, the world's leading mixed martial arts organization, has officially announced its highly anticipated return to Azerbaijan.
İdman.Biz reports that UFC FIGHT NIGHT BAKU will take place on Saturday, June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena. The main fight of the night will feature Azerbaijani representative Rafael Fiziyev ("Ataman") facing Manuel Torres ("Loco") in a five-round lightweight bout.
In the co-main event, fans can expect a high-level middleweight clash between star fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov ("Shara Bullet") and Michael Pereira, known for his "devastating" fighting style.
It should be noted that Rafael Fiziyev is currently ranked 11th in the lightweight division of UFC Fight Night Baku and aims to return to the championship fight by winning in his home arena with his unique world-class striking technique.
