"Grand Slam" tournament postponed to November

The International Judo Federation (IJF) has made some changes to its calendar for the second half of the year. Sport24.az reports that the "Grand Slam" tournament, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi in October, has been postponed to November.

 

This is due to the holding of two new Grand Prix in Lima (10-12) and Guadalajara (17-19) in October.

 

Thus, the "Grand Slam" competition in the UAE will be held on November 27-29.

 

It should be noted that at last year's tournament in Abu Dhabi, the Azerbaijani team won one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.
