Kenan Nasibov, competing in the +100 kg weight category, won a gold medal by defeating all his opponents. He defeated Dutch athlete Jur Spijker in the final with an ippon.
Vugar Talibov, competing in the 90 kg weight category, won a bronze medal by defeating his teammate Aslan Kotsoev in the match for third place.
It should be noted that Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg) had previously won a bronze medal.
