The European Judo Cup among youth, held in Istanbul, Turkey, has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani team won 4 more medals on the last day of the international tournament.
Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) took second place and became a silver medalist. Aslan Kotsoev (-90 kg), Aysun Mammadova (-52 kg) and Khadija Gadashova (-57 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be reminded that on the first day of the competition, Nihad Mamishov (-66 kg) won gold, Aykhan Mirzazade (-60 kg) and Sadiq Iskandarli (-66 kg) won bronze medals.
Thus, the Azerbaijani national team finished the tournament with a total of 7 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze), finishing 5th in the overall team standings among 27 countries, and 3rd among men.
