Abşeron-Khizi Regional Championship among judokas under 17 will be held.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that athletes from Khizi, Abşeron and Sumgayit will compete in the tournament.
The purpose of the competition is to form a base of young judokas and to determine the athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas. Also, the regional championship will bring important ranking points for selection to the national team.
Note that the tournament will be held on October 25-26 at the Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex.
