The Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Championship has ended. Sport24.az reports that "VTB Bank" became the national champion after winning 7:4 against "Marafon" in the final round.
"Marafon" finished the competition in second place. "Chinar Zangilan" won the bronze medal by defeating "Dirchelish" with a score of 5:4.
Elgun Abbasli ("Chinar Zangilan"), who scored 13 goals, won the award for the most productive player of the tournament. Elchin Gasimov ("VTB Bank") was selected as the best goalkeeper, and Orkhan Mammadov ("Marafon") was selected as the best player.
The champion team "VTB Bank" will represent Azerbaijan in the main stage of the "Euro Winners Cup". Silver medalist "Marafon" will participate in the "Euro Challengers", which is the play-off of this competition.
