The fifth day of the World Minifootball Championship organized in Baku has come to an end.
According to "Report", 8 matches were held in the III round of the group stage.
The matches took place at the National Gymnastics Arena.
The Azerbaijani national team, which is in group A, defeated Mauritania with a score of 2:0. In another match of the group, Bahrain beat Slovenia with a score of 4:1. Thus, the teams of Azerbaijan and Mauritania secured a place in the 1/8 finals in this group.

1. Azerbaijan — 7 points (7:1)
2. Mauritania — 4 points (3:3)
3. Bahrain — 4 points (5:4)
4. Slovenia — 1 point (2:9)
In group B, the Uzbekistan team faced Chad. The match ended with the victory of the Asian representative - 3:0. However, despite this, the team remained in the group. Instead, the Romanian team, considered one of the favorites of the World Championship, secured a place in the 1/8 finals thanks to a draw (0:0) in the match against the French national team.

2. Romania — 4 points (4:5)
3. Uzbekistan - 4 points (7:5)
4. Chad — 3 points (4:6)
In group C, the Turkish national team lost to England (0:3) and could not get out of the group. Hungary defeated Ukraine (3:0) and made it to the next stage.

3. Turkey — 4 points (4:5)
4. Ukraine — 0 points (1:10)
In group D, Portugal, which is in group D, defeated India with a big score (8:0) in the III round of the group stage, bringing the number of their points to 9. Bulgaria won a 1:0 victory over Slovakia and finished the group stage in second place.
