6 teams will compete in the Azerbaijan Futsal Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation.
Preparation for the new season and the list of teams to participate in the Premier and First Leagues were discussed at the meeting.
6 teams will compete in the Premier League and 10 teams in the First League. The competition in the Premier League will consist of 4 rounds and 20 rounds. In the First League, the teams will face each other in 1 round. Then, the first 4 teams will test their strength in the play-off stage. It should be noted that the season in the Premier League will start on September 18.
"Araz-Nakhchivan", "Neftchi IK", "Baku Fire", "Shusha MFK", U-19, "Lankaran" will play in the Premier League, and PFL, "Baku Fire-2", "Khan-Lankaran-2", "Star Kargo", "Timsport", "Atletiko Baku", "Trabzon - Azerbaijan", "Ulduz", "Dasta Ordubad" and "Yeni Surakhani" in the First League.
