A record has been registered at the mini-football world championship held in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that 7007 fans watched the Azerbaijan-England match held in the 1/4 final stage of the World Cup organized at the National Gymnastics Arena.
This is the largest figure recorded in the history of mini-football world and European championships. Previously, the highest number of fans was at the opening match of the European Championship held in Kosice, Slovakia - Slovakia vs. Belgium - 6513.
Note that the Azerbaijani national team finished the match with a score of 2:1 in its favor.
