"The 6th Islamic Solidarity Games are important for the Azerbaijani futsal team to gain experience." Sport24.az reports that this was said by the head coach of the team, Yevgeny Kuksevich.
The Russian expert said that many of the players who will be taken on the trip are young:
"I know the opponents, they will all come with the main squad. Therefore, I can say that we will play against strong teams. I can't say anything about the chances. This tournament is important for our team to gain experience. You know that there are certain changes in the squad. Some of the players we will take on the trip are young people. Their participation in international games will be useful for our work in the future."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team, which is in Group A, will face the teams of Libya, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
