Farid Alakbarov has been appointed as assistant to the national team's head coach, Yevgeni Kuksevich.
40-year-old Alakbarov, who wore the uniform of "Fener", "Neftchi" IK, EKOL, "Baku Fire", "Araz-Nakhchivan" clubs, as well as the national team in different years, has been the champion and winner of the Azerbaijan Cup.
