Although the Azerbaijani national minifootball team qualified for the next stage of the European Championship held in Slovakia, it wants to finish the group as a leader.
According to Idman.Biz, referring to Report, this was stated by Elshad Guliyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national minifootball team.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the second match of Group F, in which they defeated Italy 3:0: "It was a great game. I congratulate my players. We are getting better from game to game. We intend to continue like this. The opponent is a good team. But as soon as we increased the speed, we were able to increase our advantage."
He also touched upon the third-round match: "France is a good team. We have played against them before. I believe that we will be able to show ourselves in that match as well. We intend to be the group leader. We have qualified for the next stage, but we can finish the group with a better result."
It should be reminded that our team, which defeated Austria with a minimal score (1:0) yesterday, will face France on May 30. The Azerbaijani national team is currently the leader in Group F with 6 points. France is second with 4 points, Italy is third with 1 point. Austria, which lost both matches, is in fourth place.
