According to the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, the closing ceremony of the mini-football championship dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, among the servicemen of the types of troops (forces) of the Azerbaijan Army, the main departments and departments of the Ministry, and specialized educational institutions was held.

In the championship held at the base of the Central Army Sports Club, first, the memory of the Great Leader and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem was played with the accompaniment of a military orchestra.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Javid Agayev, representative of the Ministry of Defense, emphasized that such competitions play an important role in maintaining the physical fitness of servicemen at a high level and strengthening team spirit, and congratulated the winning teams on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, wishing them success in their future service.
It should be noted that the teams of the Naval Forces and Air Forces met in the final match, which was managed by the referee of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). In the competition held in a tense struggle, the team of the Naval Forces became the winner of the championship.
At the end of the event, the winning teams were presented with cups and medals.
