The World Minifootball Championship has started in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the mundial, held for the first time in our country, started with the match between France and Chad.
In the first game held at the National Gymnastics Arena, France won with a minimal score - 1:0.
In the second match of the day, Turkey faced Hungary. The game ended in a draw with goals - 1:1. In Group D, Portugal defeated Bulgaria with a score of 3:1.
The winner was also determined in the Ukraine - England match. The English defeated their opponent with a score of 4:0. 15 goals were scored in the Slovakia - India match. The Europeans won with a clean sheet.
5 more matches in 4 groups will be held today. The Azerbaijan national team will meet Bahrain.
Before this meeting, the opening ceremony of the championship will be organized. The event will be attended by famous singers Aygün Kazımova and Aleyna Tilki.
