The 6th Islamic Solidarity Games are important for the Azerbaijani national futsal team to gain experience.
This was stated by the head coach of the team, Yevgeni Kuksevich, in his statement to "Report".
He said that many of the players who will be taken on the trip are young:
"I know the opponents, they will all come with their main squads. Therefore, I can say that we will play against strong teams. I can't say anything about the chance. This tournament is important for our team to gain experience. You know that there are certain changes in the squad. Some of the players we will take on the trip are young. Their participation in international games will be useful for our work in the future."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team, which is in Group A, will face the teams of Libya, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
