Today, a meeting of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation was held.
Idman.biz reports that the meeting discussed preparations for the new season, and the list of teams that will participate in the High and First leagues.
6 teams will compete in the High League and 10 teams in the First League. The competition in the High League will consist of 4 rounds and 20 tours. In the First League, teams will face each other in 1 round. Then, the teams that take the first 4 places will test their strength in the play-off stage.
Participants of the 2025-2026 season
High League: "Araz-Nakhchivan", "Neftchi IK", "Baku Fire", "Shusha MFK", U-19, "Lankaran".
First League: PFL, "Baku Fire-2", "Khan-Lankaran-2", "Star Kargo, "Timsport", "Atletiko Baku", "Trabzon-Azerbaijan", "Ulduz", "Dasta Ordubad", "Yeni Surakhani".
It should be noted that the season in the High League will start on September 18.
