"Araz-Nakhchivan", which will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, has strengthened its squad with a Brazilian player.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced to "Report" by the vice-president of the Nakhchivan representative, Mahmud Sadigov.
The club has signed a 1-year contract with Longo Duarte Baptista. The 29-year-old futsal player was transferred from the Belgian club "Anderlecht".
It should be noted that the team, headed by head coach Yevgeni Kuksevich, will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Champions League. The team will face "Ljuti" (Austria), PYF (Scotland), and "Sparta" (Northern Ireland) in Group F.
Matches of this group will be held in Austria between August 26-31.
