The head coach of the Azerbaijani national futsal team, Yevgeni Kuksevich, shared his thoughts today after the defeat against the Georgian national team (2:5). Sport24.az reports that the specialist said that his players made unexpected mistakes:
"Today we made a lot of individual mistakes. The opponent made maximum use of our mistakes and gained a psychological advantage. I especially didn't expect such mistakes from experienced futsal players. It can be said that the opponent did not create goal situations themselves, we gave them those situations. We also knew that we were not at the top level physically. This became clear in the second half. We need to work mainly on individual mistakes. These games showed that we ourselves help the opponent more in the goals scored against our goal."
