A tragedy occurred at the "Rajd Nyski" rally race in Poland.

During the "Stary Las" special stage of the tournament, a "BMW" car went off the road, crashed into a tree, and immediately caught fire.
Local police reported that the 40-year-old pilot died at the scene. Despite the help of eyewitnesses, it was not possible to save his life. The pilot's assistant (navigator) was able to get out of the car and was hospitalized with burns.
According to a representative of the fire service, when rescuers arrived at the scene, the car was completely engulfed in flames. The organizers of the race announced that the race was suspended as a sign of respect for the victims and their families.
It is reported that the pilot who died in the accident had two children. An investigation is underway into the incident.
