Two drivers have been penalized after the sprint race of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 2.
Apasport.az reports that the official website of Formula 2 has released information about this.
Laurens van Hoepen from Trident was found guilty of the accident that occurred in Turn 2. He received a 10-second time penalty for the main race and will start the race from 17th place.
Kush Maini (Dams Lukas Oil) was held responsible for the collision with Amaury Cordeel (Rodin Motorsport). Maini, who faces a five-second penalty, will drop three places and start the main race in 19th position.
Note that the main race in Formula 2 will start today at 11:00.
