FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has confirmed that the governing body of motorsport is considering imposing restrictions on owning two teams in Formula 1.
"I believe it is wrong to have a situation where two teams are owned by the same owner. This is my personal opinion, but we are looking into this issue, because it is a complex topic," Ben Sulayem told F1oversteer.
FIA regulations currently stipulate that each team must operate as a separate legal entity, but the current amendment could lead to stricter rules.
