British McLaren driver Lando Norris has won his first "Formula 1" World Championship. Sport24.az reports that Lando Norris finished third in the final stage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen, who won the championship for the previous four seasons, finished first in the race. Norris' teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri, finished second.
As a result, Norris scored 423 points in the championship. Verstappen is second in the overall standings (421 points), and Piastri is third (410).
