Lando Norris Wins 2025 Formula 1 World Championship Title

McLaren driver Lando Norris has won the Formula 1 World Championship title at the end of the 2025 season.

Idman.Biz reports that the final race of the season was held in Abu Dhabi, with the British driver finishing third. The winner of the Grand Prix was Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, while Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri took second place.

At the end of the 24-stage season, Lando Norris scored 423 points. Second-placed Max Verstappen was just 2 points behind the British driver with 421 points. Oscar Piastri finished third with 410 points.

Thus, Lando Norris became the Formula 1 world champion for the first time in his career.

It should be noted that Max Verstappen had previously won the championship title for four consecutive seasons in the individual standings.
