Yesterday, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen took first place in the qualifying round. Carlos Sainz from Williams was second, and Liam Lawson from Racing Bulls was third. Andre Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes was fourth, and his teammate George Russell was fifth.
Today, the fight in "Formula 2" will also come to an end. The main race of the second-tier pilots will start at 11:00. Here, Jack Crawford from Dams Lukas Oil showed the best result in the qualifying round.

In 2023, Perez won in Baku for the second time. In 2024, Oscar Piastri from McLaren overtook all his rivals. In 2020, the race was not organized in our capital due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri is the leader with 324 points. His teammate Lando Norris (293 points) is second, and Max Verstappen from Red Bull (230 points) is third.
