It is now considered likely that Andy Cowell, who holds a leading position in the "Aston Martin" racing team, will lose his post.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the BBC, former "Red Bull" boss Christian Horner is named as one of the main candidates to replace Cowell.
The weakening of Cowell's position is linked to the increasing role of renowned designer Adrian Newey within the team and disagreements between the parties. Newey also being one of the club's shareholders is considered a factor influencing this process.
"RacingNews365" writes that the "Aston Martin" management decided to dismiss Cowell after the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The source states that the team has been weakened in recent months by the departure of high-ranking engineers, including aerodynamics director Eric Blandin, and these changes have further destabilized Cowell's position.
The news also emphasizes that the name of Andreas Seidl, former head of "McLaren" and "Kick-Zauber", is among other possible candidates for the position.
"Aston Martin" representatives declined to comment on the circulated news and stated that attention is focused on the remaining races of the season and preparation for 2026.
