Saša Ilić, the new head coach of "Sumgayit", arrives in Azerbaijan today. According to Sport24.az, the Serbian specialist will be in Baku in the evening.
According to information we received from a source close to the "Chemists", he will sign a one-year contract with them. Ilić is bringing two assistants with him. In general, the Serbian's coaching staff will include two Serbians, as well as Vurgun Huseynov, Shahin Abdullayev, and goalkeeping coach Emil Balayev.
It should be noted that Ilić has worked as the head coach of Serbia's U-16 and U-18 national teams, as well as "Čukarički", Bulgaria's CSKA (Sofia), and Greece's "Atromitos" clubs. His last job was "Pari NN", which competes in the Russian Premier League. The Serbian specialist has been unemployed since leaving this club in October last year.
