"My attitude to Azer Bagirov's departure from "Kapaz" is normal. Probably, the parties could not come to an agreement on some issue." Vidadi Rzayev said this in his statement to Sport24.az.
The veteran football player expressed his attitude to the departure of "Kapaz" head coach Azer Bagirov from the team:
"Anyway, no coach or football player is superior to the club. The club will always live on. It is interesting who will be the new head coach in "Kapaz". Tarlan Ahmadov once worked in the team and coped with his job. Azer Mammadov was unsuccessful, and Adil Shukurov kept the team in the Premier League. If we list them in a row, the list will be very long. The same scenario has been repeated for years, and the main reason for this is the club's management. At the beginning of this season, 12 legionnaires were transferred, but 6 of them did not live up to expectations. However, Azer Bagirov could have completed the team himself from the beginning and worked. In such a situation, the coach's job also becomes difficult. "Neftchi" is in a similar situation. They should be thankful that Yuri Vernidub was brought to the team. The Ukrainian specialist managed to get "Neftchi" together. Otherwise, the club's situation could have been even more deplorable."
It should be noted that the current head coach of "Kapaz", Azer Bagirov, will say goodbye to the club after the game with "Neftchi" in the last round.
