- What can you say about Sabah's first championship?
- We congratulate our club and fans on this success. It is a great honor for me to play in this club and be a part of it. Excluding Neftchi's championship in 2021, Qarabag dominated the Azerbaijani championship for 11 years. We feel good. We deserved this success.
- You celebrated the championship quite modestly after the match with Shamakhi (3:0)...
- Subconsciously, we had been preparing for this a few rounds before. Yes, we didn't show it because the championship hadn't officially started yet. Now we are celebrating modestly (laughs).
- Is this your first championship?
- Apart from winning the FNL with Rubin (1st League), yes. I haven't won in the elite league.
- Have you received many calls from Uzbekistan?
- Yes, everyone is congratulating us. Even my former coaches and teammates. As always, family friends and family members were not left out either.
- The cup final is coming up. What do you think?
- That's why we are not celebrating the Premier League victory so much (laughs), because there is another final ahead. We have to prepare. Then the season will be over for us.
- There are Champions League matches ahead. Are you excited?
- I have never played in the Champions League. It would be a great honor for me to play in this tournament, even in the qualifying round. We have a good team, coaching staff and atmosphere. We have to achieve results there too. I don't want to talk too much ahead of time, but we have to say our thoughts on the field.
