UEFA's press service has announced the names of two nominees for Champions League Player of the Week.
Lent.az reports that the contenders for the best player award are PSG defender Achraf Hakimi and Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The Italian club's goalkeeper was chosen as the best player for his phenomenal saves in the Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona (4:3). The Moroccan defender of the Paris club scored the winning goal in the second leg against London Arsenal (2:1).
It is worth recalling that PSG and Inter have reached the Champions League final. The match will take place on May 31 at the Arena Munich stadium in Germany.
