"It was a very important game for us." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by "Sabah" goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov.
The goalkeeper spoke about the final match of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup, in which they defeated "Zira" with a score of 2:1:
"Before the match, we were the last owners of the cup. We were fighting for the title we had. We wanted to keep it, bring it home. There was an unpleasant situation in the goal I conceded. I think we kind of fell asleep a bit. We didn't expect such an energy flow from "Zira" from the first minutes, that events would develop like this. That's why we conceded a disappointing goal."
The Kazakh goalkeeper also spoke about his fate at "Sabah":
"I want to stay at "Sabah". I also like the city of Baku. I want to play in the UEFA Champions League with the team. In a word, I intend to stay. But so far we have not been able to fully agree with the management on the terms."
