The capital's representative achieved this in the XXVI round. "Shafa" defeated "Jabrayil" in its own field - 1:. With this, the Baku club, which increased the number of points to 57, became unreachable for its followers. With this, "Shafa" secured gold medals and a ticket to the Premier League.
Being the winner of the First League for the first time, "Shafa" is the 27th team to experience championship in the tournament, which previously bore the names of the First Division and I Division. Until now, 26 clubs have achieved such success. "Araz Nakhchivan", MOIK, "Neftchala", "Garadagh Lokbatan", "Gabala" and "Turan Tovuz" have two gold medals, and other teams have one.
