Idman.Biz reports that the capital's representative achieved this in the 26th round. "Shafa" defeated "Jabrayil" 1-0 at home. With this, the Baku club, which increased its points to 57, became unreachable for its followers. Thus, "Shafa" secured the gold medals and a ticket to the Premier League.
"Shafa", which became the winner of the I League for the first time, is the 27th team to win the championship in the tournament, which was previously called the First Division and I Division. Before that, 26 clubs had achieved such success. "Araz Nakhchivan", MOIK, "Neftchala", "Garadag Lokbatan", "Gabala" and "Turan Tovuz" have two gold medals, and other teams have one gold medal.
