Sergey Rebrov, former head coach of the Ukrainian national team and vice-president of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), paid 30 million hryvnias as bail for Andrey Yermak, the former head of the Presidential Administration. This was reported by local media, according to Sport24.az.
Yermak was recently detained on suspicion of involvement in laundering 460 million hryvnias during the construction of a cottage town near Kyiv. 140 million hryvnias were demanded for Yermak's release on bail.
Rebrov stated in a statement to the press that it was Yermak who initiated his appointment as the head coach of the national team in 2023.
It should be noted that 51-year-old Rebrov resigned as head coach of the Ukrainian national team in April.
