The official website of the English Premier League has announced the list of nominees for the Best Player of the 2025/2026 season. According to Sport24.az, the list includes eight players, including players from the championship leaders and members of mid-table teams.
The contenders for the award include Bruno Fernandes ("Manchester United"), Gabriel dos Santos, David Raya and Declan Rice (all "Arsenal"), Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo (both "Manchester City"), Morgan Gibbs-White ("Nottingham Forest") and Igor Thiago ("Brentford").
The winner will traditionally be chosen based on fan votes and the opinion of a panel of experts. Fans have the opportunity to support their favorites until May 18. The name of the best player of the season in England will be announced next week.
