Positive images of football players from various countries participating in the FIFA U-15 World Championship and festival held in Baku have attracted attention.
İdman.Biz reports that the young footballers who came to our capital for the competition displayed sincere behavior, shared fun, and a pleasant mood, which are reflected in the video.
In this tournament, organized for the first time in football history, teams from 189 countries are taking part. For teenagers coming to Baku from various regions of the world, the tournament provides an opportunity to gain international experience and communicate with peers from other countries.
Within the framework of the world championship and festival organized by FIFA, about a thousand games are planned to be held. Matches will be played between eight‑person teams in a format consisting of two halves, each lasting 20 minutes.
The main matches of the tournament will be held at the Hövsan Competition Complex, while the final matches will take place at the Baku Crystal Hall.
The first games will take place on October 24, and the tournament will conclude on the 30th of the month.
