"Newcastle" has given head coach Eddie Howe assurances about his future. Sport24.az reports that the BBC has reported on this.
It was previously reported that the club's chief executive officer, David Hopkinson, questioned Howe's future in the team and promised to discuss the matter with him after the end of the season. However, Hopkinson decided to be proactive and has already held a dialogue with the coach.
"Newcastle" management told Howe that they intend to continue working with him.
However, club officials have not been able to promise Howe significant transfer support. To comply with the English Premier League's Financial Fair Play rules, the club will have to sell at least one or even two key players. This will happen if the team fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.
It should be noted that the "magpies" are currently 12th in the Premier League.
