"Neftçi" has commented on FIFA's imposition of a transfer ban on the club. A statement was made to Sport24.az by the "black and whites" regarding this matter.
"When a transfer payment is delayed, FIFA's relevant portal automatically puts the club on the red list and a transfer ban is imposed. This is a common occurrence in world practice. Once the main obligations are fulfilled, the ban is automatically lifted. The payment has already been made by us, and after confirmation by the other party, the transfer ban will be lifted within a maximum of 3-5 days. There is no cause for concern, we have no debt obligations. A payment was simply delayed due to technical issues, which has now been resolved. Our fans should not worry."
